We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our growing team. The qualified applicants will become part of the Enterprise Data Analytics Services (EDAS) program for a large federal agency in Alexandria, VA. Hybrid work is required. Must be able to work onsite in Alexandria, VA as needed

The BI Developer is responsible for deploying, developing, and maintaining BI interfaces, including query tools, data visualization and interactive dashboards, ad hoc reporting, and data modeling tools. The BI Developer will collaborate effectively with the team to ensure the team's success.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Support the design and development of BI solutions.
  • Gather and review BI requirements; design BI solutions; develop reports, workbooks, and dashboards.
  • Support enhancements and fixes to existing solutions.
  • Installation and configuration of OBIEE/OAS.
  • Operations and maintenance projects in a DW/BI environment.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Work experience using OBIEE/OAS and Tableau.
  • Min 5 years of demonstrated experience developing and supporting IT applications.
  • Must have Knowledge of working in Agile development.
  • Must have demonstrable experience with OBIEE/OAS and Tableau in developing reports and Dashboards and configuring the metadata.
  • Experience working with federal government IT systems.
  • Experience working on data warehouse and business intelligence projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills using PowerPoint.
  • Experience installing and configuring OBIEE/OAS.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to attain and maintain a Public Trust.
